St. Elizabeth University Psychology Students at the International Student Psychology Days
Psychology students from St. Elizabeth University presented their research at the international conference MSPD 2026 in České Budějovice.
Modern psychology never stands still, and the active participation of young research talent in international forums is proof of that. St. Elizabeth University sent its representatives to compete in a major scientific competition.
The International Student Psychology Days (MSPD) are far more than an ordinary meeting. They are a respected scientific conference at which the winners of departmental rounds from Slovak and Czech universities present the very best of current student research in the field.
St. Elizabeth University at an international conference
This year’s event was hosted by the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Our alma mater, St. Elizabeth University, was represented by two Bachelor’s students, who brought interesting topics to the Czech Republic.
In her presentation, Michaela Kúdelová focused on attachment in childhood and its connection to relationships in adulthood. Her findings shed light on the mechanisms that shape how we function later in life. Klára Mária Krnáčová focused her research on an issue that affects thousands of young people every year: psychosomatic difficulties and coping strategies among students in their final year of secondary school, preparing for the maturita school-leaving examination.
The aim of the event was not only to present results but above all to exchange experience and discuss current scientific issues. St. Elizabeth University expresses its appreciation and gratitude to the students for the commitment with which they represented our institution on the international stage.
