  • J. M. Hurban Award: State distinction granted to the Tropicteam of St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Work for their work during the COVID-19 epidemic, approved by the National Council of the Slovak Republic on 1 September.

  • Certificate of Excellence: Awarded to FOSL Nové Zámky.

2017

  • Mgr. Art. Martina Bencová Utešená, PhD.: Presentation at the United Nations as part of The Women’s International Forum on the topic of strengthening women’s rights. She developed the St. Bakhita Educational Centre, which has supported more than 2,000 women. The “MAMAS” project exhibition was presented at the UN, featuring photographs by Mária Muhl. She also delivered a lecture entitled “From Marginalized Women to Entrepreneurs: The Story of the Women of Eldoret Slum, Kenya.”

 

2015

  • Slovenka roka (Slovak Woman of the Year): Award in the category of Education and Development of Young Talent.

2014

  • Oxford Rectors’ Club and Academic Union: St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Work was admitted following lectures delivered in Oxford by prof. Karvaj and prof. Krčméry.

2011

  • Membership in the EUA: On 13 April 2011, St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Work became a member of the European University Association. (Source)

  • Award of the Minister of Education of the Slovak Republic: Presented to the Slovak Tropical Institute of St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Work – “Scientific and Technical Team of the Year” for research and life-saving work in developing countries.
