Our workplace achieved remarkable success at the April Congress of the Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwives (SK SaPA) in Poprad, where, alongside our lecturers, the first-ever student representative, Bc. Liana Klapková, was elected to the Council of the Chamber.
On 10–11 April 2026, the Congress of the Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwives took place in Poprad. Delegates decided on the new composition of the Chamber’s bodies and, through their votes, confirmed the direction of our professional self-governing body. The incumbent president, Mgr. Iveta Lazorová, PhD., MPH., dipl. p. a., was re-elected President of the professional organisation of nurses and midwives.
It is a great honour for our workplace that Bc. Liana Klapková, a second-year student of the Master’s programme in Nursing, ran for a seat on the Council of the Chamber. In her very first candidacy, she achieved a historic success by being elected to the Council, together with our lecturers PhDr. Lukáš Kober, PhD., MPH and Mgr. Mgr. Vladimír Sisko, MPH.
We warmly congratulate them all! We are proud of the trust the professional organisation has placed in our lecturers and our student. We wish them many successful and responsible decisions, as well as constructive cooperation for the benefit of the entire community of nurses and midwives.
