On March 12, 2025, the 7th International Student Scientific and Professional Conference (MŠVK) was held at the Institute of Blessed Metod Dominik Trčka in Michalovce (St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Sciences).
This event once again confirmed the profound importance of academic dialogue and international cooperation.
The conference welcomed a wide range of young researchers and their mentors:
International guests: 14 students from Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine), accompanied by 4 lecturers who also supervised their bachelor’s and master’s theses.
Home participants: 4 doctoral (PhD) students, 4 master’s students, and 13 bachelor’s students in Nursing and Social Work from St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Sciences. Slovak students were accompanied by their lecturers and thesis supervisors.
Guests from Slovakia: 3 students from the Catholic University in Ružomberok.
The aim of the conference was to provide students with a platform to present their research work. Presentations were delivered both in the form of research designs (theory and methodology) and as concrete results of final theses.
At the end of the event, the expert committee evaluated the best contributions at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. Diplomas and material student prizes were awarded. A special award from the committee for the best bachelor’s thesis was granted to a student from Ukraine.
We sincerely thank all students for their scientific contributions and the lecturers for their professional guidance. We believe that the participants will grow into excellent professionals who will leave a lasting impact on the communities of our countries—Slovakia and Ukraine.
